McTavish (knee) is set to skate Thursday when the Ducks have their first on-ice session for training camp.

McTavish avoided surgery this offseason while recovering from a sprained MCL in his knee. The 21-year-old will line up between Troy Terry and Trevor Zegras during the second group's practice session. McTavish could be an option at center or on the wing in 2024-25, but he's likely to maintain a top-six role after producing 42 points in 64 contests last season.
