Beaudin will hit free agency after the Senators opted against giving him a qualifying offer, Bruce Garrioch of the Ottawa Sun reports.

Beaudin failed to break into the NHL this past season, instead spending his entire campaign playing in the minors for AHL Belleville. There, the 24-year-old center garnered six goals and 10 helpers in 34 appearances. Selected by the Avs in the third round of the 2015 NHL Draft, Beaudin may be hard-pressed to earn his way back onto an NHL roster.
