Allen was sent back to Montreal for further evaluation last week, and the results were not encouraging. At the earliest, Allen could return in late March, though the Canadiens will have no need to rush him back, as they're already occupying last place in the league. The Habs will likely be sellers at the trade deadline, though Allen's absence is expected to last almost to that March 21 date. Fantasy managers who need help in goal will likely want to turn elsewhere.
