Ingram's demotion is a good indication that Juuse Saros (illness) will at least be fit enough to serve as the backup against San Jose on Tuesday. For his part, the 25-year-old Ingram is 1-1-0 with a 3.03 GAA in his two NHL contests his year and is unlikely to play much down the stretch unless another injury pops up for Saros or David Rittich.
