Senators GM Bryan Murray is still optimistic that Daniel Alfredsson will decide to play next season. "There is still no final decision on anything, but we had a very good conversation," Murray said. "We did talk about the team, what has happened around the team. There was interest on his part in what was going on." Alfredsson is already signed through the 2012-13 campaign, but he's brought up the possibility of retirement. Alfredsson scored 27 goals and 59 points in 75 games last season.
