Sean Monahan scored in regulation and he potted the game-winner in a shootout to give Team Red a 3-2 controlled scrimmage victory over Team White on Monday. Fellow Flames prospect Emile Poirier also scored for the Red squad in the match, while 16-year-old sensation Connor McDavid had a marker on a penalty shot and an assist on a goal from Toronto draft pick Matt Finn. Monahan was the only one to find the back of the net through six rounds of the shootout. The Canadian world junior hopefuls will play exhibition games against Finland (Wednesday), Sweden (Thursday) and the United States (Saturday) to close out summer development camp.
