Sean Couturier (head) skated without contact again on Monday. He returned to the ice Friday after sustaining a head injury on Dec. 17 following a shot to the head from teammate Kimmo Timmonen. "We're going day-by-day," said Couturier, who hasn't been diagnosed with a concussion. "Last Friday was just the first time in a week, and I felt off-balance a little bit. I feel better now. It depends on how my head reacts." He isn't expected to play on Tuesday night though.
