Sean Couturier has been playing in all situations for AHL Adirondack. He has been playing the point on the first power play unit and has been killing penalties on the second unit, so that coach Terry Murray can get more out of him in even-strength situations and give him plenty of ice time late in games. The Phantoms bench boss wants Couturier to shoot more, but he did score five goals in his first nine games of November, which is good progress from the one marker he scored in the first month of the season. He currently has six goals and 17 points in 18 games. "It's going pretty well," Couturier said of his AHL experience. "I'm getting [scoring] chances pretty much every game, which is something I couldn't say in the NHL. I'm looking to produce even more the rest of the season."
