Sean Couturier centered James van Riemsdyk and Jakub Voracek on the second line during Tuesday's practice. He is projected to line up there on Wednesday night in Buffalo with Daniel Briere sidelined because of an upper-body injury. Couturier hasn't been given many offensive opportunities during his rookie campaign, as he has been utilized mostly on the penalty kill and in the bottom-six forward group, so it will be interesting to see how he plays in his new role.
