Sean Avery will not face any charges following his arrest on Aug. 5 for alleged battery of a police officer. The investigation revealed that the officer was never pushed by Avery. A law enforcement source told TMZ, "We're told the officer who made the battery report did so after his foot was caught in Avery's front door," and that "multiple witnesses have corroborated the story." The source also said that the case should be closed without prosecution following an "informal meeting with the LA city attorney."
