Scott Timmins was called up to play Tuesday night in the place of absent forward Stephen Weiss. Weiss missed the game because he traveled to Toronto to attend the funeral services of his grandmother. Timmins logged 11:35 of ice time in his season debut, while posting one shot and two penalty minutes against Pittsburgh.
