Scott Hartnell was removed from the top line after he took a roughing penalty early in the second period. The demotion didn't last though as he was back on the first unit late in the third. Hartnell has been whistled for 12 penalty minutes, all of them minors, in the past three games. Unfortunately, he has just two goals and three assists in 14 outings. He's still one of the better options for PIMs and points though, so don't lose patience with him.
