Schultz (undisclosed) was placed on injured reserve Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
Schultz exited Sunday's game against the Kings with the injury, and hasn't been able to return to the ice since. The nature of the ailment remains unclear, but if healthy, Schultz will be eligible to return to the Oilers' lineup Tuesday against the Flyers.
