EDGE Analysis
After some bad luck in the first period, Pittsburgh finally broke through with a good bounce in the second. Schultz fired the puck on Sabres netminder Anders Nilsson, which he stopped, but the rebound skipped off Schultz's skate and into the net. Schultz also picked up primary assists on Evgeni Malkin's blast on the power play and on a beautiful back-door pass to Conor Sheary for the game-winner. Schultz has emerged as a must-own defensemen in Pittsburgh with 11 goals and 44 points with a plus-28 rating this season. One more goal and Schultz will have career highs in all three categories.
