There's been no developments on the injury front for Schmidt other than the fact that he's out again Friday, so it's probably best to still consider him day-to-day. The blueliner has provided a bit of value in daily formats just prior to the injury, notching two assists (five shots on goal, and seven blocked shots in the four games prior to missing Wednesday's contest. Mike Weber will once again draw into the lineup in his place, while Schmidt's next chance to play comes Saturday against the Bruins.
