Schmidt (shoulder) was recalled from AHL Hershey on Tuesday, Monumental Network reports. Schmidt has recovered from the fractured shoulder he suffered in January, and while he was playing in the AHL at the time, he has 33 NHL appearances for the season. He has nine points in 62 career NHL games, and won't necessarily join the lineup for Wednesday's matchup with the Rangers.
