Sabres coach Lindy Ruff thought Brayden McNabb might have been their best player on Friday. McNabb had a plus-one rating, two penalty minutes, two takeaways, two shots on goal, and three hits in 16:54 minutes of playing time. McNabb also started the play that lead to the Sabres' first goal of the game, although he didn't get credit with an assist. He managed to get the puck to Tyler Ennis despite the fact that his stick was broken. The puck then found his way to Drew Stafford and lastly Derek Roy, who netted his seventh goal of the season. This was just McNabb's sixth career NHL game.
