Ryane Clowe has conducted some preliminary discussions with the San Jose Sharks regarding a potential contract extension. Clowe's current four-year/$14.5 million deal will expire after this season and he'll be an unrestricted free agent if he's not re-signed. "Obviously, this is where I've been my whole career, and I'd like to stay here for awhile," he said. "Hopefully something gets done sooner rather than later, but we all know how that works." Clowe is looking to bounce back after recording 45 points in 76 games last season.
