Ryan O'Reilly and the Colorado Avalanche are still trying to negotiate a new deal. O'Reilly is a restricted free agent and is currently playing in the KHL while his agent Mark Guy negotiates with the Avs. It's possible that the two sides are at an impasse and O'Reilly could get traded or stay in the KHL but we think that the two sides will agree upon a new contract soon and O'Reilly will be back in a Avs uniform by the start of the season.
