Ryan exited Tuesday's loss to the Rangers after being hit by an Erik Karlsson shot and was not able to finish the game, Don Brennan of the Ottawa Sun reports.

Ryan was seen limping to the locker room in the third period after absorbing the shot and was the second Ottawa forward to exit with an injury after Zack Smith (upper body) left in the first. Ryan finished the night on the scoresheet after making a silky pass to Jean-Gabriel Pageau for the Senators' only goal of the night. The team may need to dig into its depth for Game 4 if Ryan and Smith are not ready to go Thursday.
