Ryan Callahan (shoulder) has been placed on the injured reserve list. The Rangers needed to clear up a roster spot. Callahan has been practicing lately and might return within a week. "I had no limitations today, it felt good again," Callahan said. "Yesterday was a positive, last night and this morning, it didn't hurt at all from yesterday's skate. Today, I was doing slap shots, not holding back at all."
