Rust was recalled by the Penguins from AHL Wilkes-Barre/Scranton on Thursday.

EDGE Analysis
With Beau Bennett out Thursday against the Senators with an undisclosed injury, Rust was added to the Penguins' 23-man roster to provide some additional depth up front. Rust tallied two points (one goal, one assist) in 14 games with the Penguins last season.
