Rust (arm) is expected to return to AHL action Friday, the Citizen's Voice reports.

Rust was reassigned to AHL Scranton/Wilkes-Barre earlier in the week, but it appears he's now ready to return to the ice after missing five weeks of action. He'll shake off the rust in the minors and could work his way back up to the parent club eventually.
