Ruhwedel (concussion) skated on his own Monday, but remains day-to-day heading into Tuesday's Game 6 clash against Ottawa, Sam Kasan of Pens Inside Scoop reports.

Ruhwedel did not stay out for the team's optional skate Monday morning, but getting back on the ice is step in the right direction for his return. Even if the blueliner is given the all clear for Game 6, there is no guarantee he would slot back into the lineup considering his replacement, Mark Streit, has assists in each of his last two appearances.
