Ruhwedel collected an assist and a plus-2 rating in his first game since being recalled in Monday's 4-3 loss to the Capitals. Making his 2014-15 NHL debut, Ruhwedel's point was the second of his career through 29 contests. The 24-year-old was recalled from AHL Rochester earlier Monday with both Zach Bogosian and Andrej Meszaros nursing injuries, so his stay with the parent club will likely last as long as his fellow defensemen remained sidelined.
