Rozsival is expected to start the season on injured reserve or long term injured reserve, Mark Lazerus of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
Rozsival is still recovering from the fractured left ankle he suffered during the playoffs last season, and probably won't start taking contact in practice for at least another week, so it makes sense for the 37-year-old to start the season on IR. If he's put on IR, he'll be forced to miss at least a week of action, if he's put on LTIR, he'll be forced to miss at least 24 calendar days and 10 regular-season contests. In his absence, David Rundblad or Viktor Svedberg will likely slot in as Chicago's sixth defender.
