Many believed that Rozsival would retire after suffering a gruesome season-ending ankle injury during the playoffs. However, Rozsival successfully completed the 12-week rehab process the injury required this offseason, and reported to Blackhawks training camp on a professional tryout offer on Thursday. The 37-year-old apparently showed enough over the first few days of camp to secure a roster spot with the Hawks heading into the 2015-16 campaign, and will likely slot into a third-pairing role to begin the season.
