Richards factored into both Chicago goals in Game 5 against Nashville on Thursday, opening the scoring in the first period and then assisting on Kris Versteeg's third-period marker in a 5-2 loss. The points were Richards' first of the playoffs, snapping a five-game drought that dated back to the last game of the regular season. He's playing enough minutes that it's not out of line to ask more of him in terms of offensive contributions. Unfortunately, after posting just 37 points in the regular season, Richards doesn't look like he's ever going to make a return to the glory days. He's just a depth contributor now.
