Petry had one hit and two penalty minutes over 20:12 of ice time in Wednesday's 5-1 loss to Boston.
EDGE Analysis
Petry played for the first time since Dec. 16 after clearing the NHL's COVID-19 protocols earlier this month. The ice time was less than his season average of 23:04, but the top-pairing defenseman was back on the power play and should get his conditioning up to snuff during Montreal's seven-game road trip. Petry has just two assists -- the last one coming Nov. 2 -- in what has been a bewildering season for him and the Canadiens.
