Pilon had been called up while Washington was missing centers Lars Eller (COVID-19 protocols) and Nic Dowd during their west coast road trip, but now that the latter has returned to the lineup, Pilon was returned to AHL Hershey to make room for Brett Leason's recall. The 23-year-old posted a goal and two hits in two games during his stint with Washington.
