Toews (concussion) will be sidelined against the Canucks on Monday, Scott Powers of The Athletic reports.

Toews will be out of action for his second straight match due to a concussion suffered versus the Red Wings on Jan. 26. While the veteran hasn't been officially ruled out, it seems unlikely at this point that he will be available versus Minnesota on Wednesday either. Dylan Strome has been given the first crack at Toews' spot on the first line, though Kirby Dach could be in contention as well depending on how long Toews is on the shelf.
