Reimer stopped 39 of 42 shots Tuesday in Boston to come away with 4-3 overtime victory.
EDGE Analysis
A pair of goals within 26 seconds of one another early in the third period had the Leafs down 3-1 and Reimer looking like the goat after he overcommitted both times, leaving the net mouth wide open behind him. But Toronto's offense stormed back with a pair of goals in the middle of the period while Reimer beat back a determined Boston onslaught. Despite playing for the basement-dwelling Leafs and thus suffering a lot of losses (14 of them in 25 games), Reimer owns spectacular rate stats and has clearly been the team's best goalie. That should earn him plenty more starts in the second half -- well, as long as he can stay healthy.
