The Blackhawks recalled Soderblom from the taxi squad to the active roster Friday, Scott Powers of The Athletic reports.

Soderblom will be the backup goalie while Marc-Andre Fleury and Kevin Lankinen are in COVID-19 protocols. If he gets in a game, the 22-year-old will be making his first NHL appearance.
