McCarron was brought up to Music City with Mathieu Olivier, one of whom will be tasked with jumping into the lineup against Dallas on Wednesday with both Nick Cousins (undisclosed) and Filip Forsberg (upper body) on the shelf. For his part, the 26-year-old McCarron has notched just two assists in six games for the Admirals this year and figures to play the bulk of his games in the minors.
