Byram (head) was called up from his conditioning stint with AHL Colorado on Monday, Peter Baugh of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Byram played in two games for the Eagles on Friday and Saturday in which he recorded one shot, two PIM and a plus-1 rating. With the young defender back up with the NHL squad, he could be in the mix for a spot in the lineup versus the Penguins on Tuesday and would likely be in line to relegate Kurtis MacDermid to a spot in the press box.
