Simmonds was sent down to the minors Tuesday but he's right back up with the Maple Leafs as the team sent Filip Kral to its AHL affiliate in a corresponding move. Simmonds has one assist in three NHL games this season, averaging 7:47 of ice time per game as a fourth-liner.
