McGinn ended last season on injured reserve due to a disc surgery on his back. He was given a four-month timeline in late March, so it's no surprise he's available for the start of camp. Injuries limited the veteran forward to three points in 24 games last season. McGinn will be in contention for a depth role in 2024-25 and may end up spending most of his playing time on the fourth line.
