Read is heading back to Philadelphia on Monday due to the expected birth of a child. His return date remains unclear at this time. Read may be allotted a fair amount of time as the Flyers remain outside of the playoff picture. While his departure likely rules him out for Tuesday's game against the Canucks, Thursday's game can't be ruled out at this point. However, it seems more likely than not that he won't dress Thursday either.
