Ray Whitney picked up an assist in Saturday's win over Ottawa to give him his first point in five games. It's been a tough year offensively for the veteran winger. Whitney has recorded just seven goals and 28 points in 63 games this season. Right now he's keeping focused on trying to get the Stars into the playoffs, but his future is uncertain. He will turn 42 years of age in May and is eligible for unrestricted free agency.
