Rask will center the top line between Eric Staal and Jiri Tlusty during Thursday's game against Winnipeg, Chip Alexander of the Raleigh News & Observer reports. Coach Bill Peters experimented with the combination during Monday's win over Calgary and again at practice Wednesday, and will apparently stick with it against the Jets. Following a strong training camp and preseason, Rask only has four points in 14 games to date, however three of those points have come in the last three games. Now, with the recent move to the top line, he will be seeing prime ice time so the opportunites to add to his scoring totals will follow. Keep an eye on him and don't be afraid to pluck him off your waiver wire in anticipation of a points surge.
