Rask is still looking for his first point of the season, currently centering the Canes' top line in between Jiri Trusty and Alexander Semin. After an impressive training camp and preseason, Rask has struggled out of the gate, with only a minus-5 rating, 12 shots on goal and two PIM through seven games. However, he is probably playing a little high up in the batting order than he should be, given the injuries to the team's top two centers, Eric and Jordan Staal. Overall, fantasy owners should not expect too much of an impact this season, given his own struggles as well as the current state of the team.
