Rangers forward Chris Kreider says Dustin Tokarski challenges shooters more than the goalie he's replacing in the Eastern Conference Final series, Carey Price.
Kreider says Tokarski plays higher in the goal crease than Price and finds himself outside of the blue paint more than Montreal's usual No. 1 goalie. "He comes out pretty far," added Rangers forward Carl Hagelin. "He's really aggressive at the shooter, but at the same time he made some good saves when we made lateral plays. Overall he's a good goalie." Tokarski is 1-1 in the series against the Rangers. The Rangers enjoy a 2-1 lead in the best-of-seven series, with Game 4 going Sunday night. The winner of the series advances to the Stanley Cup final against either the Los Angeles Kings or Chicago Blackhawks, who are tied 1-1 in the Western Conference Final series.
