Radim Vrbata managed to snap his seven-game playoff scoring drought, but it wasn't enough to extend their season. He posted an assist on Taylor Pyatt's power-play goal to open the scoring in a 4-3 overtime loss to the Los Angeles Kings in Game 5. With the defeat the Coyotes are done in the 2012 playoffs and the Kings will play for the Stanley Cup. Vrbata led the Coyotes with 35 goals during the regular season, but he found the back of the net just two times in 16 postseason games. He concluded the team's thrilling playoff run with a mere five points and a minus-3 rating.
