Bertuzzi scored two goals and added two assists in a 4-3 OT win over the Sabres on Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
Down 4-2 more than halfway through the third, the Wings were facing a loss. Bertuzzi single handedly put his team on his back, scoring twice in a 1:30 span to tie things and force OT. Then he set up rookie Moritz Seider for his first NHL goal in the extra frame. All told this season, Bertuzzi has a remarkable 13 points, including eight goals, in just nine contests. But it bears noting that Bert has been putting points up in bunches -- he'd put up three points on Oct. 24 and gone three games without anything until Saturday.
