Larkin was removed from Tuesday's 5-2 win over the Stars due to COVID-19 protocols, Max Bultman of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Larkin scored a power-play goal in the second period, but he did not play in the third. He'll undergo further tests to confirm the positive result -- if those tests return positive, he will likely have to miss a minimum of 10 days. Red Wings fans will have to hope he returned a false positive, as the star center has eight goals, six assists and 45 shots on net through 14 contests this year. At this time, it's unlikely he'll be available for Thursday's game against the Golden Knights.
