The 26-year-old winger collected his first career shortie in the second period, keeping the puck on a 2-on-1 counter-attack and ripping it past Anton Forsberg to give the Devils a 2-0 lead. Bastian's bottom-six role doesn't offer much fantasy upside, but he's had a solid start to the season with a goal and three points in seven appearances to go along with nine hits, seven shots, five blocked shots, four PIM and a plus-1 rating.
