Gaudreau scored a goal on four shots in Saturday's 4-0 win over the Flyers.
EDGE Analysis
It wasn't looking good for Gaudreau to keep his point streak alive, but he received a long pass from Chris Tanev, floated into the zone and ripped a shot past Flyers goalie Carter Hart for the Flames' last goal in the win. The 28-year-old winger is up to two goals, nine helpers, 23 shots on net and a plus-7 rating in eight contests, and he was only held off the scoresheet in the season opener. This is the best Gaudreau has been since 2018-19 -- he's in a contract year and will certainly want to be at his best to cash in big.
