Murray (illness) was placed on injured reserve retroactive to Oct. 12 on Friday.
EDGE Analysis
Murray will miss the Senators' next two games at a minimum, as he won't be eligible to be activated off injured reserve until Tuesday. With Murray battling an illness, Anton Forsberg will continue to serve as Ottawa's No. 1 netminder over the weekend.
