Pietrangelo picked up an assist in Tuesday's win over the Coyotes. After putting together a seven-game point streak from Dec. 6 through Dec. 20, Pietrangelo has since underwent a bit of a scoring drought, producing just two points over his past seven games. The 24-year-old has been the victim of some bad luck this season with a career-worst 3.5 shooting rate and an ugly minus-9 rating, despite playing for a team that's 11 games over .500. Pietrangelo figures to notice some improvement in both areas, and even if he doesn't, he's still been plenty useful for fantasy owners this season. He's tied for 21st place league-wide in defenseman scoring with 22 points in 40 games.
