Pietrangelo (knee) could return to the lineup either Saturday or Sunday, Lou Korac of NHL.com reports.

Pietrangelo wasn't expected to be re-evaluated until the end of the month, it appears his recovery is coming along faster than expected. The blueliner skated Monday and again Wednesday, and his return would give the Blues an added boost. Pietrangelo led the team in average ice time prior to the injury, but it's possible coach Ken Hitchcock will decide to ease him back into action upon returning. Expect another update on his status prior to the weekend's games, but him even being in consideration should bring relief to fantasy owners.
